자연 풍화 또는 화학적 작용으로 인해 깎이거나 퇴적된 암석층의 패턴에서 리듬을 발견하였습니다. 주제 선율의 반복과 사이사이에 변주로 나타나는 에피소드 형식을 일컫는 ‘론도’에서처럼 주어진 조건(암석의 종류, 구조, 경사도 등)에 기후와 같은 변수에 의해 드러나는 선들의 패턴이 흥미로운 선율을 만들어 내는 것입니다. 이는 likethix가 가지고 있는 브랜드 아이덴티티에 다양한 변수들이 작용되었을 때 적용하여 해석해 나갈 수 있는 가치 발현의 가능성 모델과 맞닿아 있는 점이 아닐까 생각합니다. 이번 콜라보 작업을 통해 선보이는 작품과 일상의 오브제로부터 느낄 수 있는 편안함이 함께 어울어져 이미지로부터 받는 시각적 즐거움을 선사할 수 있길 바랍니다. 나아가 본 작업을 통해 패턴화된 일상에서부터 잠사나마 변주를 느껴볼 수 있을 것이라 기대합니다.
